I explain how I use gcode files and set the zero point with the Universal g-code sender (UGS Platform from GitHUB). This is not the most efficient way but it’s a beginners way 🙂 Later I plan to get a zero probe tool that makes this easier. ??

Hi,
I liked your first cnc build using wood and aluminium rails. Roughly how much cost the whole unit and what accuracy can get from this unit?
What type of lead screws are used in the unit ( I mean size and pitch)?
Thanks

hi
You have to figure out the prize in your own country, it will cost more or less depending on how much you source yourself, wires and stuff.
It cost me about 500-600 dollars US.
lead screws are 8mm diameter, 2mm pitch per turn
kind regards
Willy
